He is also a Part Time Lecturer on the Adjunct Faculty staff for the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences Department of Rutgers University since 1994. Schwartz continued his education with an Master of Business Administration in Finance/Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sciences from Rutgers University and earned a Master of Science in Environmental Health from New York University. Gary is certified as a 40-hour OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Certified Responder and Incident Commander. He is licensed by the State of New Jersey as a Radon Measurement Specialist. Schwartz is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Microbial Consultant (CMC). As President of PHASE Associates for over 20 years, Gary has over 35 years of experience in safety and health training and education, Mold Investigations and bio-remediation plan development, Indoor Air Quality, Industrial Hygiene, and Safety Management, and ergonomics in both the private and public sectors across all industries.
